We believe that Laughter really is theBest Medicine

A smile, a chuckle, a laugh and then a roaring laugh.  Our humor is infectious.  We want to laugh and we at the sound ofroaring laughter we immediately begin to feel better.   Humor is more contagious than the flu, or colds and viruses.  Laughter is easilyshared and in doing so we strengthen our bonds with friends and family and theexperience adds to the quality of our life. Did you know that humor and laughter strengthen you immune system and they even help diminish pain.

“I made the joyous discovery that ten minutes of genuine belly laughter had an anesthetic effect and would give me at least two hours of pain-free sleep,” Norman Cousins reported when fighting arthritis and in his book Anatomy of an Illness.  He believed that humor and belly laughter could actually help alleviate pain.

Humor and laughter reduce stress and the problems it brings.  Start your day with a good laugh instead of the morning paper and you will probably live longer.

 Laughter may be the ultimate antidote to stress, pain and conflict.  Laughter can change yourperspective and how you view things.    And how we view things is how we believe themto be.  By changing our view we can change beliefs that are harmful to us. Humor makes things bearable, it gives us hope, makes us feel more connected,it keeps our feet planted on the ground and helps us stay focused.  Nothing works faster than good laugh.
